Surprisingly
to most people, over 40% of enquiries received at ELK Hypnotherapy
relate to sexual difficulties and problems. The range of symptoms
is varied and can include:
Premature Ejeculation
- Definitions of premature ejaculation have ranged from "coming
within six thrusts" to "coming within two minutes"
and even "coming before your partner". The last one can
be particularly misleading if you have a partner who likes to take
up to an hour to reach orgasm. A simpler definition is that if you
come before you want to and you feel you're not able to control
it, then you're suffering from premature ejaculation (or PE for
short).
Erectile Dysfunction (Impotency)
- A common men's health problem characterized by the consistent
inability to sustain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse
or the inability to achieve ejaculation, or both. Impotence can
vary. It can involve a total inability to achieve an erection or
ejaculation, an inconsistent ability to do so, or a tendency to
sustain only very brief erections. Erectile dysfunction is also
called impotence,
Vaginismus (Frigidity) - Vaginismus
is a sexual disorder that is characterized by the outer third of
the vaginal muscles tightening, often painfully. A woman with vaginismus
does not willfully or intentionally contract her vaginal muscles.
However, when the vagina is going to be penetrated, the muscles
tighten spontaneously due to psychological or other reasons. Vaginismus
can occur under different circumstances. It can begin the first
time vaginal penetration is attempted. This is known as "lifelong
vaginismus." Alternately, vaginismus can begin after a period
of normal sexual functioning. This is known as "acquired-type
vaginismus." For some women, vaginal tightening occurs in all
situations where vaginal penetration is attempted (generalized type).
For other women, it occurs in only one or a few situations, such
as during a gynecological examination at the doctor's office, or
with a specific sex partner (situational type).
Low Labido (Sex Drive) - Inhibited sexual desire (ISD)
refers to a low level of sexual interest. The person with ISD fails
to initiate or respond to their partner's desire for sexual activity.
ISD may be primary (where the person has never felt much sexual
desire or interest), or secondary (where the person used to possess
sexual desire, but no longer does). ISD may also be either situational
to the partner (the person with ISD is interested in other people,
but not his or her partner), or it may be general (where the person
with ISD has a lack of sexual interest in anyone). In the extreme
form of sexual aversion, the person not only lacks sexual desire,
but may find sex repulsive, revolting, and distasteful.
Sexual Addiction – can be defined as as any
sexual activity that feels out of control. A sex addict feels compelled
to seek out and engage in sexual behaviour, in spite of the problems
it may cause in their personal, social and work lives. Sexual addiction
can take many forms, but it's generally characterised by behaviour
that feels out of control. This behaviour might include:
• excessive use of pornography
• compulsive masturbation
• exhibitionism
• voyeurism
• fetishes
• high-risk sex
• prostitution
• telephone or internet sex
• multiple affairs
• anonymous sexual encounters
How can hypnotherapy and hypnosis help?
Although all of the symptoms described above can
cause a great deal of distress for the sufferer and put a great
deal of strain on relationships, the good news is that all sexual
problems and difficulties that are psychological or emotional in
their causation can be resolved with Hypno-Analysis.
Sexual problems and issues by their very nature
often have their root causes within our subconscious mind , which
is why despite however much time we have spent applying our intellectual
mind thinking of what the problem or cause might be, we very rarely
find it.
Pure
Hypno-Analysis on the other hand, is a unique therapy that uses
the subconscious part of our mind to find the root cause of the
problem, resulting in a lasting and permanent release from the symptoms.
No-one needs to have their life blighted by problems
of a sexual nature, so feel free to call (MOBILE 07932 374
